Keeping the Promise

Our servicemen and women answered the call after 9/11 without hesitation to deploy to Karshi-Khanabad, Uzbekistan for the protection of our freedoms. They found themselves at a base bathed in toxins and chemicals. "The Signs Were There” whether, in the air, the ground that bubbled black, or the pond that glowed green. We have lost many in the 20+ years since the United States first landed at K2. Those remaining heroes are suffering from health issues and diseases because of their exposure. Many are suffering the cost of their health crises alone and are doing their best to keep their heads above water financially.

At SFF, we answer this call and help whenever and wherever we can. Whether it is a surviving family member or an ill veteran, we strive to offer aid. We operate as a 100% volunteer organization, so all funds go to the care and support of families and veterans or to our minimal operating technical costs.
