SPONSORSHIP
Why Should I Become a Sponsor?
Corporate sponsorship not only provides critical, sustaining financial support for Stronghold Freedom Foundation programs, but it also gives your company a unique opportunity to make a difference in individual veterans' lives. Every donation empowers K2 Veterans, family members, and surviving spouses.
The Stronghold Freedom Foundation works with corporations in a variety of sponsorship formats, including general program support, special events, scholarships, and targeted campaign initiatives. We don't really adhere to the traditional levels of sponsorship. Instead, we speak to each sponsor individually and determine how we can work together to serve K2 Veterans best.

What are the benefits of sponsorship:
- Attendance as a special guest at the Stronghold Freedom Foundation Annual Reunion, our annual special event where we remember our fallen, announce the recipients of scholarships, and awards, and recognize our corporate sponsors
- Invitations to special events
- Special recognition on our website
- Sponsorship of one of the most elite veterans organizations, after all - only 15,777 Military Veterans and a handful of civilians were at K2.
- The opportunity to fund scholarships for children/grandchildren of K2 Veterans – awarded annually.
- Opportunity to participate in activities and events that benefit the Stronghold Freedom Foundation.
- Most importantly, the opportunity to provide support to K2 Veterans and their families!

There are several types of sponsorship options.
- Financial - These sponsors choose to give money directly to the organization for the general fund, special event, special program, or scholarships.
- In-kind - the donations of goods that can be sold in our store, raffled or given directly to our veterans in need.
- Media - secure advertising for events, fundraising, and general exposure to the organization's mission.
- Promotional - typically an individual who utilizes their network to promote the organization, a specific event, or initiative.

What are the different levels of sponsorship involvement
Although we don't really adhere to the traditional levels of sponsorship we do have are several levels of involvement that we go by:
Principal: These are the highest level sponsors of our entire organization or biggest events. The cash value of their contributions (in-kind or monetary) is a substantial portion of either our general operating budget or the budget of the event they sponsor. These are also our long-term sponsors, who repeatedly donate time, money, or services to the organization.
Advocate – This level of sponsorship includes sponsors who make a sizeable donation of money, goods, or services. We also consider the size of the business - many of our major donors are small business owners who have given an in-kind donation of goods and services that is substantial for their particular business. These donors are also long-term donors that repeatedly donate time, money, and services to the organization.
Associate: These sponsors generally sponsor a single small event or initiative. Their donations to the general fund are usually specific to a certain item, such as software. They usually choose to sponsor for a limited time or on a more limited basis. This level includes small grants and in-kind donations that we have been awarded.
